Private Parties

Southport schedules private events in 2 separate and distinct locations. The Concert Hall and The Glassed Atrium /Front Bar Area. Southport can cater to any style event: Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, Grammar and High School Reunions, Company and Private Crawfish Boils, High School Graduation Parties, High School Proms, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Debutant Balls, Sorority and Fraternity Parties, Baby Showers, National Touring Acts and much more.

Glassed Atrium and Front Bar - this area hold parties from 30 to 100 people consisting of 2 areas that are wide open and adjacent to each other. The walls adorn New Orleans Artwork, Old Liquor Signs, beautiful metal art, and photos of the history of Old Jefferson and all the gambling casinos and speak easy establishments of the early 1900's. A one of a kind snake shaped bar and hand crafted wooden buffet add style to this updated area of Southport Hall. The glass atrium opens onto the deck area overlooking River Road. This room is set up with small round tables and brown leather chairs along with high boys and metal stools, to give it a classic appeal of the new and the old.

The Concert Hall - this area hold over 250 people comfortably with high boys and stools and 6 foot long tables surrounding the area. The long hand crafted wooden bar runs on 2 sides so there is never a problem getting your favorite cocktail. The original wooden beams run along the ceiling giving that nostalgic old time feeling, along with the original keno board from Southport's gambling history. Well maintained hard wood floors and a huge dancing area in front of the stage are mainstays for every party at Southport. The large stage is perfect to bring in bands with Southport suppling it's own in house PA system and lighting.

Parties on Nights of Concerts: On most occasions all guest are allowed to stay in free of charge for the concert. Cover Charge is added for only certain bands and national touring acts.

Concerts: Southport holds up 1000 people by State and Jefferson Fire Marshall standards. Our upcoming concerts can be located on our calendar page along with show times.
