Southport Hall is divided into 2 seperate private party areas. These two distinct areas allow Southport to cater to ANY style of event. Conventions, national concert acts, wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversary parties, high school reunions and graduations, fraternity and sorority parties along with company crawfish boils.

The Deck Bar
The deck area at Southport was added onto in late 2007. Now adjacent to the bar area ia a beautiful glass encased room which allows for parties of up to 100 people. The bar area is a beautiful hand carved snake shaped bar with a full array of liqours, beer, and wine for your choosing. It's a perfect area if you want a nice flowing feel for your party. You have the bar, glass room and deck to transform into any type of atmosphere that you would like.

The Concert Hall
If you are looking for an area with tons and tons of character, what better than a room that houses great local and national music on a weekly basis. And on top of that it was once a late 1800's, early 1900's gambling casino. It's big enough to fit upwards of 900 people and can seat more than 200. The bar area is made of solid spruce complimented by well maintained hard wood floors.

The Perks
We are a family run and operated business. And we treat all our parties as if they were family. It is not our job, but our pleasure in assisting you with all your party questions. From the moment you book a party with us, Jay, our party manager is at your beck and call. No question is too small and you can call him anytime, morning, noon, or night. Southport provides our patrons with our own white linens, and votive candles. If your party is booked on a band scheduled night, well guess what? You and your party can stay for free!!!!! (The only time this does not apply: National Touring Acts, The Molly Ringwalds, The Chee Weez, The Topcats and The Bag of Donuts). So you can actually have up to a 7 hour party at Southport.

Each comes with choices of Premium alcohol and food off of our New Orleans style catering menu. All package information can be sent via fax or email.

Benefits
Here at Southport Hall we get many inquires about benefits and charity events for individuals and groups throughout the year. The management of Southport Hall has decided we will only be doing group fundraisers from this point on. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone who has a worthy cause, but we feel our time is better served to be able to help large groups over a single individual. After careful consideration these groups have been selected to have their yearly charity events at Southport Hall.
