January 2009

Every January I don't know about you but this fox feels half dead. Wait, I'am dead, but who really gives a s#!^ anymore. January is always a month where people are getting over new years and Christmas parties And trying to get back to their normal routine of dare I say it, WORK. I thought I was going to have withdrawals from all those December parties, maybe even get a chance in January to recuperate these old stiff and stuffed bones, but as always thing don't slow down around here. I started the month with a engagement party for Victor and Amanda. Did I ever tell you I was engaged once, but lets face it, I get to stare at random hot foxes living in at bar all the time. I guess you could say I will never be a one woman fox. Then we had a customer appreciation party for BIXCO Flooring. It was a great time, and I was real excited because I was hoping tha they could hook me up with a nice brazilian cherry to stand on instead of this stupid log. I swear I've got bunnons all over my paws. I was also feeling my lucky leprechaun coming out with meetings for the Irish Channel Marching Club and Emeral Society. Maybe Irish eyes will finally be smiling down on me for Super Bowl Sunday and I can hit on a damn pool.

I also got to do a little marching with Jefferson City Buzzards at their 1st annual Buzzard Ball. They were very cool, but I hate that word buzzard ever since I got shot and was being circled from the sky by a bunch of them. Cogratulations to Mr. Jimmy Anderson on his retirement from the New Orleans Police force, that was one hell of a retirement party. And our final party we had a dual Birthday for mom Pam turning 50 and daughter Jenna turning 21. I got a remeber to send them a bill from the eye doctor because I think I'am going blind after seeing all the beatiful women at that party. And a special shout out to Pam's mom, Ms. Joyce, we love ya.

A special thanks to all the bands that to took the stage this month, Troubleshooters, Yeah You Right, Saving Face, Shake the Handle, The Tomatoes, Under Review and Contraflow. Thanks for making it a great month of January.
